Which documents used for applying passport, 

Maximum 2 documents only need for applying fresh passport, Only one address proof is more than enough if you are living at the same place for the past 1 year. and another document is used verify your name.

• Photo passbook of running bank account in any public sector bank, private sector bank and regional rural banks
• A voter ID card 
• Aadhaar card (Best proof for approval)
• Electricity bill
• Rent agreement
• Driving license (Best proof for approval)
• PAN card
• Landline or postpaid mobile bill
• Proof of gas connection
• Spouse’s passport copy (First and last page of the passport that includes the details of the family and mentions applicants name as the spouse of the passport holder)
• Certificate from employer of reputed companies on letterhead.
• Income Tax assessment order
• School leaving certificate
• Birth certificate issued by the Municipal Corporation
• Policy Bond issued by the Public Life Insurance Corporations/Companies having the DOB of the holder of the insurance policy

1) Fresh Passport/Re-issue of Passport including additional booklet due to exhaustion of visa pages (36 pages) of 10 years validity.   

 Application Fee :  Rs.1,500/-*

Additional Tatkaal Fee : Rs.2,000/-*

2) Fresh Passport/Re-issue of Passport including additional booklet due to exhaustion of visa pages (60 pages) of 10 years validity.   

Application Fee :  Rs.2,000/-

Additional Tatkaal Fee : Rs.2,000/-

3) Fresh Passport/Re-issue of Passport for Minors (below 18 years of Age), of 5 years validity or till the minor attains the age of 18 whichever is earlier (36 pages) 

Application Fee : Rs.1,000/-

Additional Tatkaal Fee : Rs.2,000/-

4) Replacement of Passport (36 pages) in lieu of lost, damaged or stolen passport

Application Fee : Rs.3,000/-

Additional Tatkaal Fee : Rs.2,000/-

5) Replacement of Passport (60 pages) in lieu of lost, damaged or stolen passport    

Application Fee : Rs.3,500/-    

Additional Tatkaal Fee : Rs.2,000/-

6) Police Clearance Certificate (PCC)  

Application Fee :  Rs.500/-

7)   Replacement of Passport (36 pages) for deletion of ECR / Change in personal particulars (10 year validity)
